Searmanas an Baitín Glais
The Searmanas an Baitín Glais (Ceremony of the Green Stick) is a compulsury weekend campout, training session and ceremony for all Sli Beatha students. It will include many other aspects of Sli Beatha training, including fitness training, weapons training, firearm training, land navigation, First Aid & CPR, seminars and leisure activity.
Time for recreation, such as fishing, biking and BBQ will be available.
This will also be when all Sli Beatha rank is offically recognized and a ceremony will comence, lead by Ard Taoiseach Craig Smith.
The 2004 Searmanas will be on May 1st & 2nd, which falls directly on Beltane, the Celtic new year.
